Ratul: You are right. But the law applies to the public service , the work that takes place in public - but the law does not apply to the secret service. The subject of the Secret Service is cunning, treachery, deception and power. You see, I beat Madan in the morning - and now I beat him with a telescopic button.

This has happened even after 1971. When General Aurora left Bangladesh and returned to India for fear of Mao Zedong - but the peoples of the Indian Secret Service became active in Bangladesh. This trend however still continues. In particular, RAW is the most active. Those who travel to India from Bangladesh are more likely to be targeted by RAW. And those who regularly travel from Bangladesh to India, three or four times a year - they are brainwashed in different ways by RAW to create additional agents (SHADOW AGENTS) of RAW.

Ratul: - The betrayal is with a friend. During World War II, the USA, Britain and Russia fought as friends. But after 1945, when Joseph Stalin formed the Soviet Union, the United States and Britain did not like it. The United Nations was formed with the exception of Joseph Stalin. This led to the Cold War between the USA and Russia. It was because of this nerve war that the US and Russian forces fought directly against each other in the wars in Korea and Vietnam. And in 1971, the USA fought a war against Russia over East Pakistan (Bangladesh) and West Pakistan.

Even politicians often act like the Secret Service. When the Indo-Pakistani partition took place in 1947, Barrister Jinnah understood that East Pakistan would one day or another be a separate state, a thousand miles away from the enemy India.

I: - Then Jinnah could have taken Maharashtra and Gujarat without East Pakistan and Barrister Gandhi could have taken Bangladesh with India.

Ratul: - Partition of India was not in the will of Jinnah-Gandhi. It was at the will of Britain. So when Britain divided the country as they wished, Jinnah-Gandhi was forced to accept the partition of Britain.

But Jinnah did another trick. He decided not to leave East Pakistan without war. So to start the war, he came to the then DACCA (Dhaka) in 1948 and declared, "Urdu, and Urdu will be the only state language of Pakistan."

The beginning of the war. The Bengali educated society formed by reading the books of Michael, Rabindranath, Bankimchandra and Saratchandra did not accept Jinnah's declaration. Ordinary peoples are associated with them. This is how, one issue after another is created for war. As if, war is the only reason to leave East Pakistan.

I: - Without war, West Pakistan could have left East Pakistan.

Ratul: - East Pakistan could. But that would be a shame for Pakistan in the international arena. Because, Pakistan's status would be reduced to USA, Soviet Union, China, Middle East and Europe. That is why war is the main means of leaving Pakistan. So Bangladesh was liberated from Pakistan after the war in 1971 - but India continued to spy on Bangladesh through RAW. But I entered Bangladesh to arrest the extremists of Assam.

আমি বললাম : - আপনারা ভারতের নাগরিক হওয়া সত্ত্বেও বাংলাদেশে গেলেন ভারতের চরমপন্থী উগ্রবাদী আসামিদেরকে গ্রেফতার করতে ? এটা কি আন্তর্জাতিক আইনের লঙ্ঘন হলো না ?

রাতুল : - তোমার কথা ঠিক আছে। কিন্তু আইন প্রযোজ্য হয় পাবলিক সার্ভিসের (PUBLIC SERVICE) ক্ষেত্রে , যে কাজ প্রকাশ্যে ঘটে - কিন্তু সিক্রেট সার্ভিসের (SECRET SERVICE) ক্ষেত্রে আইন তেমটা প্রযোজ্য হয় না। সিক্রেট সার্ভিসের বিষয়টা হচ্ছে চালাকি , গাদ্দারি , প্রতারণা আর শক্তি সামর্থ্যের বিষয়। তোমরাই তো দেখলা , মদনকে সকালে স্যার স্যার করেছি - আর এখন টেলিস্কোপিক বাটন দিয়ে পিটালাম।

এমনটা 1971 এর পরেও হয়েছে। মাও সে তুঙ এর ভয়ে যখন জেনারেল ওরোরা বাংলাদেশ ত্যাগ করে ভারতে ফিরে গেলেন - তখন কিন্তু ভারতের সিক্রেট সার্ভিসের লোকেরা বাংলাদেশে সক্রিয় হয়। এই ধারা কিন্তু এখনও অব্যাহত আছে। বিশেষ করে , র (RAW) হচ্ছে সবচেয়ে বেশি সক্রিয়। বাংলাদেশ থেকে যারা ভারতে বেড়াতে যায় - ওদেরকেই র (RAW) টার্গেট করে বেশি। আর যারা বাংলাদেশ থেকে ভারতে নিয়মিত মানে , বছরে তিন বা চারবার বেড়াতে যায় - ওদেরকে বিভিন্নভাবে মগজ ধোলাই (BRAIN WASH) করে র (RAW) এর অতিরিক্ত এজেন্ট (SHADOW AGENTS) তৈরি করে।

আমি : - বন্ধুরাষ্ট্রের সঙ্গে এটা কি একটা অনৈতিকতা অথবা বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা হলো না ?

রাতুল : - বিশ্বাসঘাতকতাটা তো বন্ধুর সঙ্গেই হয়। দ্বিতীয় বিশ্বযুদ্ধের সময় ইউএসএ , বৃটেন আর রাশিয়া বন্ধু হয়েই যুদ্ধ করেছিলো। কিন্তু 1945 এর পরে যখন জোসেফ স্ট্যালিন সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন গঠন করেন - তখন সেটা ইউএসএ আর বৃটেনের ভালো লাগেনি। আবার জোসেফ স্ট্যালিনকে বাদ দিয়েই গঠন করা হয়েছিলো জাতিসঙ্ঘ। এরই ফলে শুরু হয় ইউএসএ আর রাশিয়ার মধ্যে স্নায়ু যুদ্ধ (COLD WAR)। এই স্নায়ু যুদ্ধের কারণেই কোরিয়া আর ভিয়েতনামের যুদ্ধে সরাসরি মার্কিন বাহিনী আর রুশ বাহিনী একে অপরের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করেছিলো। এবং 1971 সালে ভারতকে দিয়ে রাশিয়া আর পাকিস্তানকে দিয়ে ইউএসএ যুদ্ধ করিয়েছিলো।

এমনকি রাজনীতিকরাও অনেক সময় সিক্রেট সার্ভিসের মতোই কাজ করে। 1947 সালে যখন ভারত - পাকিস্তান বিভাজন হয় , তখন ব্যারিস্টার জিন্নাহ ঠিকই বুঝেছিলেন , হাজার মাইল দূরে শত্রুদেশ ভারতের ওপারে পূর্ব পাকিস্তান এক সময় না এক সময় আলাদা রাষ্ট্র হবেই।

আমি : - তাহলে জিন্নাহ পূর্ব পাকিস্তান না নিয়ে মহারাষ্ট্র আর গুজরাটকেও নিতে পারতেন আর ব্যারিস্টার গান্ধী ভারতের সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশকে নিতে পারতেন।

রাতুল : - ভারত বিভাজন তো জিন্নাহ - গান্ধীর মর্জিতে হয়নি। হয়েছিলো বৃটেনের মর্জিতে। তাই বৃটেন যখন নিজেদের মন মতো দেশভাগ করলো , তখন জিন্নাহ - গান্ধী বাধ্য হয়েই বৃটেনের ভাগাভাগি মেনে নিলেন।

কিন্তু জিন্নাহ করলেন আরেক চালাকি। তিনি সিদ্ধান্ত নিলেন , যুদ্ধ ছাড়া পূর্ব পাকিস্তান ত্যাগ করবেন না। তাই যুদ্ধের সূচনা করার জন্যই 1948 সালে তখনের ডাকা (DACCA) তে এসে ঘোষণা করলেন , " উর্দু , এবং উর্দুই হবে পাকিস্তানের একমাত্র রাষ্ট্রভাষা। "

শুরু হলো যুদ্ধের সূচনা। মাইকেল , রবীন্দ্রনাথ , বঙ্কিমচন্দ্র আর শরৎচন্দ্রদের বই পড়ে গড়ে উঠা বাঙালি শিক্ষিত সমাজ জিন্নাহর ঐ ঘোষণা মেনে নেননি। তিনিদের সঙ্গে যুক্ত হলো সাধারণ মানুষ। এভাবেই একের পর এক ইস্যু তৈরি করা হয় যুদ্ধের জন্য। যেন যুদ্ধই হয় পূর্ব পাকিস্তান ত্যাগ করার একমাত্র কারণ।

আমি : - যুদ্ধ ছাড়াও তো পশ্চিম পাকিস্তান ত্যাগ করতে পারতো পূর্ব পাকিস্তানকে।

রাতুল : - পারতো। কিন্তু সেটা পাকিস্তানের জন্য আন্তর্জাতিক অঙ্গনে হতো লজ্জার বিষয়। কেননা , ইউএসএ , সোভিয়েত ইউনিয়ন , চীন , মধ্যপ্রাচ্য আর ইউরোপের কাছে পাকিস্তানের মর্যাদা কমে যেত। তাই যুদ্ধকেই পাকিস্তান ত্যাগের প্রধান মাধ্যম করা হয়। তাই 1971 সালে যুদ্ধ করে পাকিস্তান থেকে বাংলাদেশ মুক্ত হয় - কিন্তু ভারত ঠিকই র (RAW) এর মাধ্যমে বাংলাদেশে গুপ্তচরবৃত্তি অব্যাহত রাখে। কিন্তু আমি তো বাংলাদেশে প্রবেশ করেছিলাম আসামের উগ্রবাদীদেরকে গ্রেফতার করতে।
