There were several gatherings of people in public places today.

On other days, there aren't that many people gathered. But today there were a few hundred people. A few hundred people is not that unusual for a political rally.

But for this small political party, a gathering of a few hundred people is a big deal.

On other days, there are gatherings of ten to twenty people. They all stand behind the leader. And the leader gives a speech.

There is a reason for the gathering of so many people today. They informed each other about a news item via the internet in the morning. Their party is small. But they are in alliance with one of the largest political parties in the country. That is why their party leader will get the nomination in this election. Such a news has spread this morning.

But this news was spread secretly. Through communication between each other. The matter is not yet confirmed. So this news was not spread on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or any other social media. And none of this small group dared to spread the news.

Many people couldn't become members of any other big party. So they joined this small party and became leaders.

Some of them belong to this small group. But they don't get any opportunities. That's why they don't come to the party's various programs. Today they also came.

Their party leader began to give a speech.

He began to say, “Comrades and friends present. I used to broadcast videos against corruption on Facebook and YouTube alone. Many people became my followers and subscribers after watching the videos. Then many people came and agreed with me in reality. In other words, my activities went from virtual to real. Then I formed our political party. As a result of this, a huge gathering of countless people took place today (although only a few hundred people). But our goal is not yet here. We have to do a lot more work. We have to go a long way politically. There will be elections in the country in a few months. I will seek nomination from the alliance in that election. I have been protesting against corruption online for so long. Currently, I am protesting against corruption with you. Yes, this is everyone's conviction. Until now, many people have not been able to campaign on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. But after the leader announced this conviction, everyone's campaign started. Everyone started posting in their own way. Those who could not upload any videos also started posting one or two lines. In this way, massive likes, shares and comments started happening. A month passed. By then, the issue had worried the main leader of the largest party in the alliance. So, he announced his nomination even though he did not want to.

In due course, the leader of the small party received the nomination and won the election.

This time, all the leaders of that small party started preparing to speak out against corruption.

The leader went to parliament and made a speech against corruption. This went on for a few days. But suddenly the leader does not say anything against corruption.

The matter has worried the leaders of that small party.

So, after a few more days, fifty to sixty members of the party appeared before the leader. These were basically the main driving force of that small party.

There was a lot of discussion about the country among them. Finally, one of them said, “Leader, I want to present a matter to you.”

The leader said, "Yes, tell me. I've been waiting to hear from you today."

“দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিবাদী নেতা অবশেষ নিজেই দুর্নীতিতে জড়ালেন।”

পাবলিক প্লেসে আজ বেশ কিছু লোকের সমাবেশ হয়েছে।

অন্যান্য দিন এতো লোকের সামাবেশ হয়না। কিন্তু আজ কয়েক শ লোক হয়েছে। কয়েক শ লোক একটা রাজনৈতিক সমাবেশের জন্য তেমন কোন আহামরি বিষয় না।

কিন্তু রাজনৈতিক এই ছোট দলের জন্য কয়েক শ মানুষের সমাবেশ বিরাট কিছু।

অন্যান্য দিন দশ থেকে বিশ জন লোকের সমাবেশ হয়। ওরা সকলেই নেতার পিছনে থাকে। আর নেতা বক্তব্য প্রদান করেন।

আজ এতো লোকের সমাবেশের কারণ আছে। সকাল বেলায় একে অপরকে ইন্টারনেটের মাধ্যমে একটা খবর জানিয়ে দিয়েছে। তাদের দল ছোট। কিন্তু ওরা জোটবদ্ধ হয়ে আছে দেশের অন্যতম বৃহৎ রাজনৈতিক একটা দলের সাথে। সেই কারণেই তাদের দলের নেতা এবারের নির্বাচনে মনোনয়ন পাবেন। এরকম একটা খবর আজ সকালেই ছড়িয়েছে।

কিন্তু এই খবরটা গোপনে প্রচারিত হয়েছে। একে অপরের সারে যোগাযোগের মাধ্যমে। বিষয়টা এখনো নিশ্চিত না। তাই ফেসবুক, টুইটার, ইউটিউব অথবা অন্য কোন সোস্যাল মিডিয়াতে এই খবরটা প্রচারিত হয়নি। এবং এই ছোট দলের কেউই খবরটা প্রচার করতে সাহস পায়নি।

অন্য কোন বড় দলের সদস্য হতে পারেনি অনেকেই। তাই ওরা এই ছোট দলে যোগ দিয়ে নেতা হয়েছে।

তাদেরই কেউ কেউ এই ছোট দলের অন্তর্ভুক্ত। কিন্তু সুযোগ সুবিধা পায়না। তাই দলের বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচিতেও ওরা আসেনা।আজ ওরাও এসেছে।

তাদের দলের নেতা ভাষণ দিতে শুরু করলেন।

তিনি বলতে লাগলেন,“উপস্থিত সংগ্ৰামী সাথী ও বন্ধুগণ। ফেসবুক ও ইউটিউবে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে আমি একা ভিডিও প্রচার করতাম। ভিডিওগুলো দেখে অনেকেই আমার ফলোয়ার ও সাবস্ক্রাইবার হয়েছেন। এরপর বাস্তবে অনেকেই এসে আমার সাথে সহমত হয়েছেন। অর্থাৎ, আমার কার্যক্রম ভার্চুয়াল অবস্থা থেকে বাস্তব অবস্থায় এসেছে। এরপর গঠন করলাম আমাদের রাজনৈতিক দল। এরই ফলশ্রুতিতে আজ অসংখ্য জনতার বিশাল সমাবেশ হয়েছে (অথচ লোক মাত্র কয়েক শ)। কিন্তু আমাদের লক্ষ্য আজ এ পর্যন্তই না। আমাদেরকে আরো অনেক কাজ করতে হবে। রাজনৈতিকভাবে আমাদেরকে আরো অনেক দূর এগোতে হবে।  কয়েক মাস পর দেশে নির্বাচন হবে। সেই নির্বাচনে আমি মনোনয়ন চাইব জোটের পক্ষ থেকে। এতো দিন আমি অনলাইনে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিবাদ করেছি। বর্তমানে আপনাদেরকে আমি সাথে নিয়ে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে প্রতিবাদ করতেছি। এই নির্বাচনে আমি পাশ করব এবং জাতীয় সংসদে গিয়ে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে কথা বলব। এটাই হোক  আমাদের আজকের প্রত্যয়।”

হ্যাঁ, এটাই হলো সকলের প্রত্যয়। এতক্ষণ অনেকেই ফেসবুক, টুইটার ও ইউটিউবে কোন প্রচারণা করতে পারেনি। কিন্তু নেতার এই প্রত্যয় ঘোষণার পর থেকেই শুরু হলো প্রত্যেকের প্রচারণা‌। প্রত্যেকেই নিজের মতো করে পোস্ট দিতে লাগলো। যারা কোন ভিডিও আপলোড করতে পারেনি, ওরাও এক অথবা দুই লাইনের পোস্ট দিতে লাগলো। এভাবে ব্যাপক লাইক, শেয়ার ও কমেন্টস চলতে লাগলো। কেটে গেলো এক মাস। ততোদিনে বিষয়টা ভাবিয়ে তুলেছে জোটের সবচেয়ে বড় দলের প্রধান নেতাকে। তাই তিনি ইচ্ছা না থাকলেও মনোনয়ন দেওয়ার ঘোষণা দিয়ে দিলেন।

যথাসময়ে ছোট দলের সেই নেতা মনোনয়ন পেলেন এবং নির্বাচনে বিজয়ী হলেন।

এবার সেই ছোট দলের সকল নেতা প্রস্তুতি নিতে লাগলেন দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার হওয়ার জন্য।

সংসদে নেতা গেলেন এবং বক্তব্যও রাখলেন দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে। এভাবে চললো কিছুদিন। কিন্তু হঠাৎ করে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে নেতা কোন কথা বলেন না।

বিষয়টা ওই ছোট দলের নেতাদেরকে ভাবিয়ে  তুলেছে।

তো আরো কিছুদিন পর কেটে গেলো। একদিন দলের পঞ্চাশ থেকে ষাটজন সদস্য নেতার কাছে উপস্থিত হলো। এরাই মূলত ওই ছোট দলের প্রধান চালিকা শক্তি।

তাদের মধ্যে দেশ সম্পর্কে অনেক আলোচনা হলো। অবশেষে একজন বলল,“নেতা, একটা বিষয় আপনার কাছে উপস্থাপন করতে চাচ্ছি।”

নেতা বললেন,“হ্যাঁ, বলো। আমি তো তোমাদের কথা শোনার জন্যই আজ অপেক্ষায় আছি।”

_ নেতা, আপনি তো আগে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে খুবই সোচ্চার ছিলেন। তো এখন তো দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে কিছুই বলেন না। এর কারণ কী?

_ আমি আগে নিজের টাকা খরচ করে দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে সোচ্চার ছিলাম। কিন্তু কেউই আমাকে কোন খরচের টাকা দিতো না। এখন নেতা হয়েছি, তা সত্ত্বেও কেউ আমাকে খরচের টাকা দেয়না। ফলে আমি অভাব অনটনে পতিত হয়েছি। তাই এখন আমি নিজেই দুর্নীতি করে টাকা উপার্জন করতেছি। তাছাড়া কিছুদিন আগে তোমরা আমার কাছ থেকে অনেক টাকা নিয়েছো পার্টির অফিস করার জন্য। সেই টাকাটা আমি তোমাদেরকে দিয়েছিলাম দুর্নীতির টাকা থেকে। আমি, তুমি এবং আমার দলের সকলেই দুর্নীতির প্রতিবাদ করে বর্তমান অবস্থায় এসেছি। কিন্তু এখন আমরা সকলেই দুর্নীতির সাথে জড়িত হয়েছি। তাই এই অবস্থায় এখন আমি প্রতিবাদ করিনা দুর্নীতির বিরুদ্ধে।” (সমাপ্ত।) (The end.)
