Bajlu passed MBBS and came home and said to his father, “Daddy, I have passed MBBS. Look for my wife now.”
Bajlu's father, Mr. Kalam said, “Hey boy, you have become a doctor, now become a doctor in a government hospital. Then I can get you married to a beautiful girl of a rich man.”

In this way, various people used to call me on small matters and I took used to bully him. One day, he called me and said, ‘Meeting you, my life has become miserable. Ever since I went to you, you have made my life miserable by listening to people.’
Bajlu said, “Why did this happen?”
The leader said, “After meeting me, I felt that my honor was associated with the gentleman's activities. On the other hand, those who saw the gentleman's selfie with me, also started to think that the gentleman was defaming my name. So, if only a little wrong, he must be hooked. That's how it happened. Basically, you and I have a good relationship – it can be maintained at a distance. If you come close and take selfies that go viral, you lose more than you gain.”

“নেতার সাক্ষাৎ যে একটা জটিল ব্যাপার,সেটা নেতা নিজে বুঝালেন।”
বজলু এমবিবিএস পাশ করে বাড়িতে এসে বাবাকে বলল,“বাবা,আমি এমবিবিএস পাশ করে এসেছি।আমার জন্য এবার বউ দেখ।”
বজলুর বাবা কালাম সাহেব বললেন,“আরে বাবা,ডাক্তার তো হয়েছো,এবার সরকারি হসপিটালের ডাক্তার হও।তাহলে তোমাকেই বড় লোকের একটা সুন্দর মেয়ে বিয়ে করাতে পারব।”
_ সরকারি হসপিটালের ডাক্তার না হলে কি বিয়ে হবে না?
_ অবশ্যই হবে। কিন্তু সরকারি হসপিটালের ডাক্তার হলে মাসের মাস একটা নিশ্চিত বেতন থাকে।এছাড়া বাইরেও রোগী দেখে টাকা কামানো যায়।
_ ওও,আচ্ছা।একথা। তাহলে তুমি বলতে চাচ্ছো যে,আমি টাকা কামানোর পর আমাকে তুমি বিয়ে করাতে পারবে বড়লোকের সুন্দর মেয়ে।
_ অবশ্যই।
_ কিন্তু আমি যদি সরকারি হসপিটালের ডাক্তার না হয়েই টাকা কামাতে পারি,তখন?
_ সরকারি হসপিটালের ডাক্তার না হলে তুমি তেমন টাকা কামাতে পারবে না।তুমি যে টাকা কামাবে, এরচেয়ে বেশি টাকা কামাই করছে রাস্তার মোড়ের ফার্মেসিওয়ালা।
বজলু কিছুক্ষণ চিন্তা করে বলল,“তোমার কথাটা সত্য।তবে একটা শর্টকাট উপায় আছে।”
কালাম সাহেব বললেন,“উপায়টা কী?”
_ তোমার বন্ধু, অর্থাৎ যিনি এখন সরকারি দলের নেতা,তিনির সাথে আমি সাক্ষাৎ করব এবং সেলফি তোলে সেটা ফেসবুকে আপলোড করব।সেটা দেখে আমার প্রাইভেট চেম্বারে রোগীর ভীড় লাগবে।”
কালাম সাহেব চমকে উঠে বললেন,“তাই তো।রোগীরা যখন দেখবে, স্থানীয় নেতা তোর সাথে সেলফি তুলেছে,তখন মনে করবে,নিশ্চয়ই তুই বড় ডাক্তার।আর অমনি রোগীরা এসে ভীড় করা শুরু করবে।”
যে কথা সেই কাজ,কালাম সাহেব ফোন করলেন বন্ধুকে,“হ্যালো বন্ধু,তুমি এখন কোথায়?”
নেতা বললেন,“বন্ধু,আমি এখন বাসায়।কী ব্যাপার?তুমি তো আমাকে ফোন কর না।আজ হঠাৎ ফোন করলে যে?”
_ আমার ছেলেটা তোমার সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করতে চায়।প্রায় উতলা হয়ে উঠেছে তোমার সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করার জন্য।
_ কোন ব্যাপারে?
_ সেটা তুমিই তাকে জিজ্ঞেস করিও।
কথা মতো পরদিন বজলু গিয়ে উপস্থিত হলো নেতার কাছে।
নেতা জিজ্ঞেস করলেন,“কীরে,তুই নাকি আমার সাথে দেখা করার জন্য উতলা হয়ে উঠছিস?”
বজলু বলল,“জ্বি নেতা।”
_ কেন তুই উতলা হয়েছিস?
_ আমি এমবিবিএস পাশ করে ডাক্তার হয়েছি। এখন আপনার সাথে দেখা করে আমার পরিচিতিটা আরো বাড়াতে চাই।
_ তুই ভুল করছিস।আমার সাথে দেখা করলে তোর আরো সমস্যা হবে।
_ কেন?
_ আগে একজন এসেছিলো। আমার সাথে ছবি তুলে ফেসবুকে ভাইরাল হয়েছিলো। কিন্তু এরপর থেকে ওর জীবনটা অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে উঠেছিলো।
_ এটা কোন কথা হলো?
_ হ্যাঁ।আমার কাছ থেকে গিয়ে ফেসবুকে ছবি দেয়ার পর থেকেই একটা কিছু করলেই আমাকে বিভিন্ন লোকে ফোন দিয়ে বলতো,‘আপনার সাথে যে লোকটা ফেসবুকে ছবি আপলোড করেছে,সে লোকটা তো রাস্তায় একটা মেয়ের সাথে কথা বলেছে।’ তাই আমিও সে লোকটাকে ফোন করে ধমকাতাম।এভাবে ছোটখাটো বিষয়ে আমার কাছে বিভিন্ন লোকে ফোন করতো আর আমিও তাকে ধমকাতাম।একদিন আমাকে সে ফোন করে বলল,‘আপনার সাথে দেখা করে আমার জীবনটা অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে উঠেছে।আমি আপনার কাছে যাওয়ার পর থেকে আপনি আমার জীবনটা অতিষ্ঠ করে তুলেছেন মানুষের কথা শোনে।’
বজলু বলল,“এ রকমটা কেন হয়েছিলো?”
নেতা বললেন,“আমার সাথে সাক্ষাৎ করার পর আমার কাছে এটা মনে হয়েছিলো যে,ছেলেটার কর্মকাণ্ডের সাথে আমার মানসম্মান জড়িয়ে গিয়েছে।আবার অন্যদিকে যারা আমার সাথে ছেলেটার সেলফি দেখেছে,ওরাও মনে করতে থাকে যে,ছেলেটা আমার নাম ভাঙ্গিয়ে চলছে।অতএব, অল্প কিছু হলেই তাকে আটকাতে হবে।এভাবেই ওই রকম হয়েছিলো।মূলত তোমার আমার সম্পর্ক ভালো আছে_সেটা দূরে অবস্থান করেই বজায় রাখা যায়।কাছে এসে সেলফি তুলে ভাইরাল করলে লাভের চেয়ে লোকসানই হয় বেশি।”
তখন ডাক্তার বলল,“তাহলে আমি কি আপনার সাথে দেখা করব না?”
_ অবশ্যই তুই আমার সাথে দেখা করতে পারবি। কিন্তু আমার সাথে দেখা করে ছবি তুলে ভাইরাল করতে পারবি না।যদি করিস,তাহলে আগের লোকটার মতো তোকেও অতিষ্ঠ হতে হবে।
এরপর নেতার বাড়িতে এসে সাক্ষাৎ করলো,দুপুরের খাবার খাইলো এবং আসবার সময় নগদ টাকা উপহার দিয়ে এলো। কিন্তু সেলফি তুললেও সেটা ফেসবুক অথবা অন্য কোন সোস্যাল মিডিয়াতে আপলোড করলো না।(সমাপ্ত।) ©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
