Dalim Khan was out of the house. I went to him and said, "Why did you betray Tikka Khan?"


 Dalim Khan said, "As he has betrayed us, so I have betrayed him."

Again, the greed of Nobel Medicine Prize enters in the doctor's mind, he flew in different places without treatment of the patient. And he is ready for the celebration of the Nobel Prize before the announcement. So I think it is better to beg in Sweden than to be greedy for the Nobel Prize, and it is more better to work in one's own country than to beg in Sweden. And it is best to be able to usurp the power of one's country. So we are preparing to capture the power of the country.

ডালিম খান ছিল ঘরের বাইরে।আমি ওর কাছে গিয়ে বললাম,"আপনি টিক্কা খানের সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করলেন কেন?"


ডালিম খান বলল,"সে যেমন আমাদের সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছে,তেমনি আমিও ওর সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করেছি।"


- সে আপনাদের সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা করল কখন?


- বদর ভাই বিশ্বাস করে টিক্কা খানকে আমার সঙ্গে পাঠিয়েছিল । কিন্তু সে আমাকে বদর ভাইয়ের বিরুদ্ধে খেপিয়ে তোলার অপচেষ্টা করেছে।এটাই টিক্কা খানের বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা।


- কিন্তু আপনি টিক্কা খানকে ধরিয়ে দিয়ে হাসছিলেন কেন?


- এটা হচ্ছে আমার ওকালতি বুদ্ধির বহিঃপ্রকাশ।


- কী রকম?


- আমি যখন শিক্ষানবিশ উকিল ছিলাম তখন আমার সিনিয়র উকিল বলেছিলেন,'ভালো উকিল হতে হলে ভালো জেরা করা শিখতে হবে। কিন্তু বেশি টাকা কামাতে চাইলে নিজের মক্কেলের সঙ্গেই বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা আর বাটপাড়ি করতে হবে। তখন থেকেই মানুষের সঙ্গে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা আর বাটপাড়ি করা শুরু করি।মিথ্যা মামলায় না জিততে পারলেও মক্কেলকে বলতে হবে মামলা জিতিয়ে দেয়ার।আবার নিশ্চিত জিততে পারার মামলাটা প্রতিপক্ষের কাছ থেকে টাকা খেয়ে হেরে যাওয়া প্রভৃতি বেশ ভালো করেই শিখেছিলাম।একবার এক মিথ্যা মামলাকারীকে বলেছিলাম,'এই মামলাটা রুজু করতে মাত্র দুশো টাকা লাগবে।' কিন্তু মামলা জিততে না পারার পর মক্কেলটা আমাকে বলল,'আপনি তো দুশো টাকার কথা বলেছিলেন।' তখন আমি ধমক দিয়ে বলেছিলাম,'এ ব্যাটা,মামলা রুজু করতে দুশো টাকা বলেছিলাম।জিততে তো বলিনি।'এই কথা বলে মক্কেলকে বিদায় করেছিলাম।কিন্তু পর্যাপ্ত মামলা না পাওয়ার কারণে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা ও বাটপাড়িতেও আর দিন চলছিল না।


- আপনি বলেছেন,আপনারা ক্ষমতা দখল করতে পারলে আপনি আইনমন্ত্রী হবেন।কিন্তু আপনি আইনমন্ত্রী হলে আপনার বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা আর বাটপাড়িতে অন্য এমপি-মন্ত্রীরা অতিষ্ঠ হয়ে উঠবে।


- তখন আমি এমনিতেই বাটপাড়ি ছেড়ে দেব।কেননা, চরম বাটপার ও বিশ্বাসঘাতকও সরকারি সুযোগ-সুবিধা আর বেতন-ভাতা পেয়ে ভালো হয়ে যায়।সহজ কথায়, এমপি-মন্ত্রী হলে বিশ্বাসঘাতকতা আর বাটপাড়ির দরকার হয় না। আমি বাটপাড়ি আর বিশ্বাসঘাতকতার ওস্তাদ, আর আমার সঙ্গে তা করার চেষ্টা করে টিক্কা খান সেই রকম ধোলাই খাইল। 


এবার বুঝলাম টিক্কা খানের সঙ্গে ডালিম খানের বিশ্বাসঘাতকতার কারণ।


এমন সময় বদর আলি এসে বলল,"কী ব্যাপার ভাতিজা,তুমি আবার ডালিম খানের সঙ্গে কী নিয়ে আলোচনা করছো?


আমি বললাম,"টিক্কা খানের ব্যাপারে আলোচনা করছিলাম।"


বদর আলি বলল,"তাবলিগ করলেই মানুষ ভালো হয়ে যায় না। শুধু তাবলিগ না,অন্য যে কোন মতাদর্শের সঙ্গে থাকলেও নিজের স্বভাবের পরিবর্তন করা জরুরি।পির ,ফকির অথবা তাবলিগ যে কোন মতাদর্শে থাকা সত্ত্বেও নিজের স্বভাব ভালো করা উচিত।তা না হলে মসজিদে মসজিদে, মাজারে মাজারে অথবা পিরদের দরবারে দরবারে ঘুরেও তেমন সুফল হয় না। টিক্কা খান তাবলিগ করলেও ওর স্বভাব ভালো হয়নি।"


আমি বললাম,"আচ্ছা,টিক্কা খানকে একবাল খান গুলি করে যমুনা নদীতে ভাসিয়ে দিতে চাইল,অথচ আপনি নিষেধ করলেন কেন?"


- আমাদের মধ্যে শত্রুতা তৈরি করার চেষ্টা করে টিক্কা খান মারাত্মক অপরাধ করেছে। কিন্তু ওর প্রচেষ্টা ছিল মুখে মুখে এবং সেটা ব্যর্থ হয়েছে।তাই তাকে হত্যার প্রয়োজন হয়নি।তাছাড়া সে নিজের হাতে অস্ত্র নিয়ে আমার বিরুদ্ধে লড়তে আসেনি। আর টিক্কা খান অনেকটা মানসিকভাবে বিভ্রান্ত হয়ে এটা করেছে।


- কী রকম বিভ্রান্ত হয়েছে?


- নিজের চেয়ে যোগ্য কারোর সঙ্গ পেয়ে অনেকেই নিজেকে বেশি যোগ্য মনে করে।এটা কিছুক্ষেত্রে ঠিক হলেও অনেক ক্ষেত্রে ভুল।আমাদের কাছে অস্ত্র আছে।আমরা প্রশিক্ষিত লোক।অথচ আমাদের মধ্যেই মারামারি লাগিয়ে দিয়ে টিক্কা খান ফায়দা লুটার চেষ্টা করেছে।অস্ত্র ছাড়া সে এটা করেছে বলেই আমি তাকে হত্যা করিনি।


- আচ্ছা,আপনি বলেছিলেন, নোবেল প্রাইজের লোভ মানুষকে নিজের লক্ষ্য ও উদ্দেশ্য থেকে সরিয়ে দেয়।সেটা কীভাবে হয় ?


- যখন কোন ব্যক্তি বড় কোন উদ্দেশ্যে কাজ শুরু করে ,তখন সেই ব্যক্তির লক্ষ্যই থাকে কীভাবে কাজটা আরো ভালো করা যায়। কিন্তু যখন কারো মনে নোবেল প্রাইজের লোভ ঢোকে যায়,তখন সেই ব্যক্তির লক্ষ্যই থাকে নিজের কাজকে কীভাবে নোবেল প্রাইজের উপযুক্ত করা যায়।কোন রাজনীতিকের মনে যদি শান্তিতে নোবেল প্রাইজের লোভ ঢোকে যায়,তখন সে শুধু চিন্তা করে,এটা করব না।করলে হয়তো শান্তিতে নোবেল প্রাইজ পাবো না।ওটা করব না,যদি নোবেল কমিটি নোবেল প্রাইজ না দেয়।তেমনি যে লেখকের মনে নোবেল প্রাইজের লোভ ঢোকে ,সেই লেখক তখন চিন্তা করে , এই বিষয়ে লিখবো না,যদি নোবেল প্রাইজ না পাই। ওই বিষয়ে লিখবো না,হয়তো নোবেল কমিটি আমাকে গেঁয়ো মনে করবে।আবার কোন ডাক্তারের মনে যদি চিকিৎসায় (মেডিসিনে) নোবেল প্রাইজের লোভ ঢোকে,তবে সে রোগীর চিকিৎসায় মন না দিয়ে বিভিন্ন স্থানে চাপাবাজি করে বেড়ায় আর নোবেল প্রাইজের ঘোষণার আগেই নোবেল প্রাইজ প্রাপ্তির উদযাপনের জন্য তৈরি হয়ে থাকে।তাই আমি মনে করি, নোবেল প্রাইজের জন্য লোভী হওয়ার চেয়ে সুইডেনে গিয়ে ভিক্ষা করা ভালো, আর সুইডেনে গিয়ে ভিক্ষা করার চেয়ে নিজের দেশে খেটে খাওয়া আরো ভালো।এবং নিজের দেশের ক্ষমতা কুক্ষিগত করতে পারলে সবচেয়ে ভালো।এই কারণেই আমরা নোবেল প্রাইজের পিছে না ছুটে দেশের ক্ষমতার পিছে ছুটছি।


ওদের সঙ্গে আরো কথা বলে ঘরে চলে এলাম।ডালিম খানের সঙ্গে যেসব কথা হয়েছে সেগুলো টিক্কা খানকে বললাম।টিক্কা খান শোনে বলল,"আমি এর প্রতিশোধ নেব।"(চলবে।)©️All Right Reserved by Junayed Ashrafur Rahman
